2nd July 2016 to 16th July 2016
Once a year St Just comes to life, exploding into colour for the Lafrowda Festival, a celebration of the community's heritage and traditions. Although the festival was only born in 1996, it has gone from strength to strength and is now a major attraction for the town, bringing in thousands of people from the West Cornwall area and beyond.
The towns children work for months to produce amazing giant sculptures which they parade, accompanied by a host of performing artists. In the evening, a torch-lit procession is held where hand made lanterns are carried through the streets.
