Greenway Pro Surf Competition 2010

In September 2009 St.Ives hosted the first Greenaway Pro in memory of much-loved Surfer and lifeguard, Tom Greenaway. A host of the UK’s top Surfers and Bodyboarders came together to compete and celebrate over a weekend of surfing and music.

With the true spirit of community, both locals and visitors, from as far away as South Africa and Australia, came together making for an incredible vibe and unique atmosphere.  Ending on a high with a monumental, sold-out after-party, the Greenaway Pro became one of the most memorable events of 2009 in only its first year. Here’s to 2010.

Starting on the 18th of august the Pro will dominate Porthmeor beach, With Open, U18, Bodyboard, Longboard and Ladies categories.

THU 19th:7.30am-Longboard/Ladies/U18/Masters

FRI 20th: 7.30am – OPEN/Bodyboard.
SAT 21st: 7.30am – OPEN/ Bodyboard.
